I first discovered this stuff in the printmaking studio: the only thing that could ever cut through the thick, sticky, lithography ink. By comparison, the funk that forms on my stovetop and in my oven is child’s play. I continue to use this on just everything: even cookware and bakeware with sticky, sugary or greasy residue. I love that it’s so non-toxic, I’m not afraid to use it on food prep surfaces. The fact that I can mix this crazy concentrated stuff to a variety of dilutions is even more helpful.

When I was in the service, we used Simple Green to clean our gear. Nothing, I repeat, nothing cleaned as well as this to get out weeks’ worth of mud, dirt, and grime from straps, harnesses, and fabric. Hell, we used it to clean engines! I saw the other 1-star review on here and I couldn’t let that stand.

Pro’s: – versatile for most all surfaces – non-toxic – economical (dilute for various purposes)
Con’s: – not a good glass cleaner, even when diluted.
Diluted in a spray bottle, this is very useful around the house for cleaning counters, stove tops, bathroom vanities, and spills on carpeting. In stronger solution, it’s useful as a de-greaser and hand cleaner.
Due to the de-greasing action, I don’t recommend this for washing cars (will tend to remove car wax).
The safety of this product is a big selling point for me, especially around surfaces where food is prepared.
A gallon bottle will last a long time, considering that you dilute for most applications (provide your own spray bottle).
